About The Old Bank Bed & Breakfast
 The house is of local stone with a lovely courtyard leading to a pretty cottage garden. Set on a hill overlooking the beautiful Blackmore Vale, Marnhull is an excellent centre from which to explore Thomas Hardy country. The coast is within easy reach, as are the ancient and attractive towns of Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Bath and Salisbury. National Trust properties and gardens are close by, as are the historic hill forts of Hambledon Hill, Hod Hill and Maiden Castle at Dorchester. Walking and cycling routes are popular - we can lock up cycles and dry clothes.

Open fires and breakfast in our farmhouse kitchen make this a friendly and relaxed place to stay.

 The Courtyard leads thru' to a 'secret' garden. An established lovingly tended sunny cottage garden where our guests are welcome to relax.

Our sitting room (pictured below) is decorated with traditional furniture and fabrics. A wood burning stove makes this a warm and welcoming room during the winter for our guests to enjoy and watch TV.
